Every year, agent Arn Tellem gets some of his clients to travel to rural Maine to instruct and talk with a group of teenagers from Israel and Palestine about basketball and learning to play together...Seeds of Peace.
In the past, Jason Collins, Brian Scalabrine and Brook Lopez have been among the Nets who've made the trek to tiny Otisfield for the annual event. Jordan Farmar, one of two Jewish players in the NBA, was there Thursday with another group of players and draftees, including DeAndre Jordan, Brandon Knight, Trey Tompkins and Jordan Hamilton. It was his third time, which shouldn't surprise anyone. Farmar holds week-long basketball camps for Israeli and Palestinian children in Los Angeles annually.
